My new Reefstew Onyx Clowns from Unique Corals

I was browsing UC last week and they had some nice clowns at a decent price. I emailed UC and asked for a picture and I had to ask who was the breeder, coincidently it was Reefstew. These guys are awesome, I'll get a better pic once they're in my display with lights on.

Those are great looking clowns! However, they are not onyx clownfish. They look to be really nice snowflake clowns, Definately A. Ocellaris.

Did they really sale them as onyx clownfish?

UC does have them listed as Onyx, but i'm pretty sure you're right and they are snowflakes, either way they're nice clowns and I'm glad I purchased them.

I agree very nice clowns. I'm really surprised they had them listed as a. Percula onyx clownfish. There is no way bob would have mislabeled his clowns. There is a strong possibility the male could have been a black and white ocellaris or a small chance onyx percula. The main blood lines are certainly ocellaris/snowflake.

The fish are snowflakes. They purchased 8 different kinds from me & must have made a mistake.
