My New SPS Reef

I love the colours!!... this is going to grow into a beautiful reef.

Well done so far Sir!

Thank´s, but the colours are just fine at this moment, but they have a lot to improve yet

I love the low and minimal aquascape, superb colours too, well done!

What are your plans going forwards, stocking wise; are you looking for any other corals are are you just going to let it grow :smokin:

Tony

I would like to buy more corals , but unfortunately I live in Brazil, here everything is very difficult and expensive. Just to give you an idea, the price for a medium size coral is almost U$ 400 :eek1:

Here in Brazil you can´t find more than 5 / 10 guys that has a good SPS reef, so is very difficult to trade or buy frags

I hope in the next life I can born in europe, usa etc

great looking reef, well done!

I understand that u keep NO3 and PO4 low without carbon and bacteria dosing, right?

How much water do u change every week? do u use any phosphate/nitrate removers constantly?

I change 10% weekly and add two parts. I don´t do nothing special here, just keep the things as simples as possible.

Initially, I wondered if your aquascape was too minimal, but I now see your vision.

Excellent!!

Thank´s, let´s see in a couple of months how the things will be here

Best Regards

Nice, clean and clever. I have question about siporax. the box with siporax - is it connected to the inlet pipe of the feeding pump ?

Another question - you said your photoperiod is 6 to 8 hours? I'm surprised it look too short for me.

Hi, Just saw your question today

It´s just a box with small holes on the side , nothing is connected

Yes, 6 / 8 hours is enough. I think there is a trend to keep a short photoperiod

Sorry, what kind SPS is this ?

It looks like birdnest, but like stylo too ?I'm not an expert with SPS ID

Amazing work man!
Beautiful photographs and great corals.
Have great day!

Beautiful tank Denadai,
Just curious as to what is the drip rate through your little kalk reactor?
Thanks

One drop each 3 seconds

Subscribed..... Look good... What is you daily addition of Calcium and Alk?... are you using Zeovit.?

I´m not using zeovit. I´m dosing biocalcium, 4 spoon daily. I´m going to start balling this week

Sorry, what kind SPS is this ?

This is not a hystrix, we call here Hot Pink Birdnest , their tips is rounder than hystrix

Hello,

I´m running carbon ( TLF ) , I change every month. About GFO , I´m not using because is not necessary, my Po4 is zero with Hanna

Best Regards

Wow!!! Your colours are really coming through. It looks beautiful. And the frags are certainly getting larger..infact they should be called mini colonies. Keep up the good work my friend.

PS I think its safe to say that the Ati Sunpower is sufficient for the corals needs and colour too! :)

when you add new frags or colonies do they go brown or lose their color or do they hold on to their color as first introduced? Just curious, cause your colors look great....
