My New SPS Reef

Very nice tank&corals and clean sump! Maybe I missed it but can you explain why you prefer artificial rock over the real live rock. Any benefits, less detritus...?

Because I can move the artificial rocks to clean the acrylic. Also I Think a lot of people are getting algae, aiptasia, mojano problems with bad LR. Artificial rocks are reef safe.

Those rock pieces looks very natural. Great job.
The aquascape is the key here I think. The placement of these artificial rocks makes them look like a shallow reef scene. A treat to behold.
The colours of your coral are also very beautiful and show a great combination.
It's gonna be even more better once they start to grow and fill up those open spaces.
Keep updating bro!!

Thank you reef noob

Perfect reef .. how many dry stones you using in your tank now? and what kind of yours other stones is ?

Looking good!

I note that you have put the siporax in a bag and just placed it in the sump, is that the case?

Would you say the ATI 8x39w is worth the extra money compared to the 6x39w version?

Hi,

Yes, that is the case about siporax, just a bag placed in the end of my sump.

Yes , I think the new Sunpower worth the extra money. The new sumpower has just one power cable now , I like the controller , timmers and they are dimmable

Best Regards

WUau!!, amazing!!!, I have readed full post, and, what is the dosification to siporax?, do you clean the siporax?

hallo denadai
you tank is extraordinary
I see you are using t5h0 as the main light in you tank
May I know the composition of these lights? and for the replacement bulb is usually how you do it once a month?

then to siporax himself if he has the same properties as biohome?

Hi,

You can use 1L of siporax for each 100L of tank water. I just shake the siporax sometimes

Other question, we know that siporax removes no3 with bacteries established in his, but, PO4 too?, what do you use to check no3/po4?. I see that you don´t use carbon to filter water...¿right?

I´m maturing a bit of rocks in the dark for my new lagoon reef, and after read you, I will follow your system, is AMAZING!, no bacteries adiction, no carbon source, no resines, no zeolites,...amazing as Spiderman

Hello,

I check my PO4 with Hanna Pocket Photometer and my NO3 with salifert.

To remove PO4 I do weekly water changes and a good skimmer also help. Besides just feed enough your fishes.

Sometimes I use carbon, a bag in my sump, but to be honest I can´t see any difference in my water.

Best Regards
