My new Sunset milli

No so I cant validate its lineage at all. If its not the original it seems just as nice though.



I have owned 2 other green milleporas and also this sunset. Having moved tanks (moving placement of corals) none of the other green milleporas ever exhibited color similar to the sunset...and the sunset has always been the "sunset" from day one, no matter where I put it so I would have to dissagree.

IMO maybe some could have the potential to turn in color similar but not all (or in my case none did).

Picked this up a little bit ago and thankfully its doing great in my tank... heres a link to where it came from... corals linage ... it lost a little orange from the transfer from his tank to mine, but its coloring back up nicely..

Im pumped about it so i just thought i'd share some pics!

The Sunset is amazing. I have had mine since 2003, it came in as a wild colony. It grows like a weed for me and I have tons of frags always lying around. The main colony was recently chopped in half but is still a monster. I always thought it was a cool coral but was never really in demand until now. These days I cant frag it fast enough as everyone is now hitting me up for frags of it.

It is the huge colony in the center. I have the other half in the frag tank in the back.
