i just picked up a 6 line wrasse today hes so fun to watch i also picked up a bangle cardinal and a flame angel ya i know not the greatest reef fish but i been watchen him and he strayes away from the coral and sticks to picken at the rock so hes got a chance so now my stock list looks like this

1 tomato clown
1 yellow tang
1green chromis (he killed the other 3)
1 flame angel
1 6 lined wrasse
1 bagle cardnel
1 dimond goby
1 cleaner shrimp
1 emeral shrimmp
a few coral as of now but plan on more
and heading back out to aqua world maybe thursday for this bright purple fish dont know its name srry lol my mom loves it and she wants it so were goin back out
Nice list... You should buy a mate for your Bangaii. I gave up on Chromis a long time ago for the very reason you stated. I'm going to try out Anthias this time... hopefully they'll live, as they are notorious for slowly dying off.

i was looking to but ran out of money spent 120 today on 3 fish lol but any other color full fish you would sugest and i will probly buy another one i want another wild caught one like this one they got better coloring and markings

From everything I've read, school fish work great if introduced together, but if you intro them separately, you're asking for trouble.

Yeah... I'm just worried about the Anthias, because they need multiple feedings per day. Most are so starved by the time they are caught, transported, stored at a wholesaler, transported to the retailer and dropped into their tanks... they are a lost cause, and bringing them up to good health is a losing battle.

They're definitely a fish I'm going to be looking for a guarantee on when I purchase them.

wow idk if i would chance it and they are exspensive to and i was looking i havent seen any guarantee on that species idk maybe im not looking hard enough if i see one i will let you know maybe invest in some sort of auto feeder if you get them they might be ugly to look at but it would possibly save you fish from starving to death its just a thought

Any high risk fish like that, I'd try to place an order with a LFS and wait to see it eating in their tanks for a few days before moving it to yours. A lot more expensive than shipping it, but once you pay for the shipping 5 times before getting lucky...maybe not. I do feel bad even looking at those kind of fish though. We have a responsibility to these animals we're keeping, and it's a cruel and irresponsible position to keep pillaging the reefs just to put fish in our tank because we think they look cool. You should always make sure you have the right conditions and the animal has a reasonable shot before putting them in your tank.

The online retailer I use for my "rarer/harder to keep" fish has them, and also offers a 14 day guarantee. I'll probably need to pick up a coral or two as well to qualify for the free shipping though... darn ;)

Getting Closer:

nice plumbing!
Thank you, the drain lines have about another week to quiet down. If they don't then I'll be redoing all the drain plumbing, and a few pieces on the return. Everything is just far too loud right now.

TJ, Looking good so far. What bulb is that...the color looks nice. I see your RBTA made it in there. Cool !

Correct... still not sure if I like them or not though. I'm going to give them a month or so before I decide if I'm going to go back to 20k or not.
