Guess Spring is in the air here, caught my Picasso's right at the beginning of their first spawn!
Of course it was right after some tank maintenance so the water is not as clear as I'd like, and they picked the backside of the farthest rock, but oh well, got some ok pics.
Thanks Eric, and thanks again for female, she's worked out well.
I'm lucky I caught it, they were out of site in back, in fact it was my females absence that made me wonder what was up, she's always right out front of her Mag.
Not yet, and I would like to but I would want to do it right, and the first few spawns we usually let go anyway, so right now I'll just enjoy the free fish food and pleasure of seeing my clowns doing their thing.
Sweet, that hot couple will make some good looking kids.
The challenge of raising the babies is not getting them to grow, but getting them to look like their wild counterparts, free of defects and with vibrant colors.
Yeah I made sure the parents came from separate breeders in order to have a nice healthy mix, female is from sustainable aquatics while the male is a C-quest/donisreef mix, so they should stand a fair chance of providing quality young.
