It's hard to tell who is happier, the Gig or the Clowns. I am trying to figure out what kind of species tank I may want to do...just getting back after a few years out. I like the idea of a species tank...your's is an inspiration. Nice work!!
wow.....that's a beautiful gig xtlosx
I wish I had a tank big enough for that type of anemone. Nice to see it so happy and healthy in your system![]()
Very, very nice. Trying to guess the perspective, how big is that monster?
It has come a long way!
How big in that tank
Martini and Rossi Asti Spumante
Wow. Very impressive specimen. Congrats on making it through the opening stages. I haven't had the courage to even consider one yet.
I know it sounds crazy, but be careful about feeding it to much. In the wild they eat when they can snag something or when their fish (like your clowns) bring them back something to eat. I am sure if you look when feeding the fish, you will see your clowns carrying some of the food back to their 'nem. I would give it a day or two off during the week where it isn't fed. I think they do need the occasional break.
looking good Tom!! Hey one question, does it deflate on you at all? My nems deflate at times but gets back to size in a couple of days, any thoughts on this.
Mine did that, so I treated for four days and the gig has looked great since
