My return to Dark Lord Coral

PITW, you are almost as bad as Jose! I am jelous. I was there on Sunday and they had so many lords I wanted I could barely contain myself. Please post pics when you get back!

Jose, Any idea on the lineage on that watermelon. It is really nice!

C'mon now, he's a really nice guy with tons of fantastic stuff at great prices. Now PITW said he'd buy from him again.
 
i never said he wasnt a nice guy, actually he only took my money and said thanks so i dont know that he is a nice guy...but my rainbow looks NOTHING like Jose's....and for 20$ for 3 heads...kinda dissappointed.


even more disappointing is that NONE of my zoas that i bought from that swap made it. NONE!!! and i spent 80$. all of them developped a fungus. I tried everything! i think they were exposed to some bad conditions on the way in. And a terible macroalgea was intoduced!! AHHHHHH!


didnt buy from the rainbow from the same guy, but wont buy from the zoa guy again....
 
I did not say he wasnt a nice guy, i just stated that i feel his pictures misrepresent his livestock. I just wish he could get better pics. I also did not mention who it was, dont like bashing people even if i have a bad experience.

I somehow missed this, i didnt ask when i bought the micro but it looks like the sleepy hollow micro on their website. I think thats what it is.
 
I don't recall sayin' i'd buy from him again.. We kind of both mutually said sorry or whatever.. but honestly, seems like hes done the same thing to quite a few ppl and yet hardly anyone knows about it bcuz he covers it up well.. kinda sad
 
hey jose... that frag you got for me from that guy.... they have actual radioactive zoas on it (red with green skirts) along with the other green type radioactive... they are starting to grow out now.. they do look better, but still way dull.
 
thats what i was saying, he said green zoas and thats what we got, but nowhere near as bright as his pictures showed.
 
anyywayyyysssssss I went to darklordcoral again tonight..

passed on micros for now.. I want a frag of a different one which they didnt have cut so I'm waiting on that.. BUT

I picked up a coco worm, which I've always wanted but never got one.. and a sweet coral which I'm pretty sure is a scolymia.. not certain though.
 
clams, and stuff.. this was my first time seeing the new big tubs so i don't really know what else was new..

Beautiful picasso clowns.. an angler.. anything else i dont really know.. i'm uploading pics of my new purchases now :D
