Thanks! Counting the tail he is around 8-9 inches. I cannot get a tape measure near the tank because the fish freak out for some reason. Sorta like when I flash a net around.
All I know is that he filled up a 8 inch net plus some. I know nets are bad for angels, and can hurt them, But this guy would not get into the buckett. LOL I scooped him tail first to assure easy extraction and less chance of him gitting his spikes tangled up. It went smoothly.
Anywho I would guess 8.5 inches. Growth is non existant for him length wise, he has gained some girth though.
I would think since I had a hard time getting him to eat the first few mos.
Now he eats with a vengence and bites me all the time.

I bought him as Male, He was this size when I gotten him last winter. Thats the reason he gave such a hard time eating. This is the last big angel I buy for that reason. My small meredithi gave me no grief as to taking to foods, But he was 3 inches when I bought him.
These big guys are stubborn.

Thanks Matt. I'll take a short feeding video today. All the hand feeding I do no wonder he and the sohal bites me. Its a little more scary with the sohal even thouigh he is a big baby his scalpel can do some damage at his size if he decided to get me. He moves in lightning quick for food and I dont even see him get me sometimes.
