You guys in Canada are really well served with coral beauties. Well done!

Do all your LFS get pieces like that?

Another Monti

I had the same Montipora as this one. It was a big colony but unfortunately, I lost it to Montipora nudibranchs. That is one sweet piece. Hold it thighs!

Most of these pieces come from my local forum members, the closest lfs is an hour drive from me actually. We have a good scene going on locally in southern Ontario, it's great.

Nice tank!!
Looks great!
What is the food that gets added mid way through that video? It looks like its live copopods or something..

Brs reef Chilli and a mix of cyclopleze and pe mysis, i feed that much daily. Im strong believer of strong import and exporting of nurrients, since ive started this routine sps color has increased.

Thank you, i wouldnt go as far as saying a Good Photographer, but i do enjoy the photography side of the hobby, i am only using an entry level dslr but it works alright for me. I really have been fortunate with my SPS color and i believe its from feeding an abundance of food while maintaining low nutrient levels.

Filtration is handled by a Skimz SM161 protein skimmer, i run 250ml of GFO and 250ml of bio pellets to keep everything in check, and like i said i also feed food like crazy, at least a cube or 2 of mysis daily with nls pellets a few hours later and BRS reef chilli at 2x the recommended amount and daily. on top of that i feed cyclopleze 2x a week sometimes spot fed to acans, chalice and other lps stuff.

How did you get BRS reef chili in Canada?

I live on the border with the USA, I get smaller orders shipped there and cross the border to pick up and save some money.

just a quick update, im always adding frags but the other day i added 5 female anthias to go with a male i picked up a few months back so i decided to take some new photos.

You have very nice aquascaping and colorful corals. I wish you lot of luck and big coral colonies in the future.

Really nice!

You guys from Canada always kick a$$. Something is in the water up there.

That Nem was beautiful. What did you do with it? Moves around too much?
