My tanks doing really good since the switch to t5

I recently switched my lighting from straight mh to 4 Ati 8 x54 t5 fixtures ... Corals are growing faster and tanks seems to be doing better it's probably coincidence I'll post pics

Kinda a question I guess does it make sense for the tank to do better with t5? Also my Alk uptake increased by 100ml a day crazy

Think of it this way... You said your corals are growing more with new lights, right? Ok, since the corals are growing faster, they are consuming more ALK.

I know guys I can't shut up about my stupid lights ... as far as color goes yes I've notices a lot of brown corals coloring up and my pinks seem way better actually every color seems more vibrant the coolest is there's enough light for all coral every square inch versus with the hildes had a lot of sweet spots but wasn't evenly spread and my colors were diff I think altimate is mix of both mh and t5 or led and t5 I beleive now the t5 do a lot more then I thought they did in the past .... Eventually I would like to try the Ati hybrids

I think after all this talk of how great T5's are you need to serve up from DSLR photos.

ATI Hybrid's would be $$$'s for your tank, but would be pretty awesome.

I too just went to a T5 unit, 4 bulb from a Radion pro xr15.
It's crazy how the polyp extension got wild!

If this keeps up, I may invest in a 6x24 ATI unit and sell off the pro

Sell the pro and get as many t5s as will fit over the tank!

What was your MH setup before? 2 250w with 4 PC or led or t5 ? Just wondering how you ran them?
