Skeleton Cabinet Stand is being started straight after and all will be done by Thursday!

This aquarium stand is very heavy duty, the steel is 50mmx50mm@3mm gauge.

Aquarium Stand & Skeleton Cabinet Stand complete and in place!

Glass maker will be here in the next few hours to measure the stand for the Display & Sump that he will be creating which I suspect will only take 3-5days considering his past work and speed!

You can also see the 250L Fresh Water Reservoir container that will act as an ATO once its concrete stand is built so that it is elevated higher then the Sump in the base of the stand.

New Boots Arrived for my Mantisman Uniform!!

Still need to get the belt it is going to have a large pure solid silver buckle made out of my official trademark/logo for the buckle.

I still also need new gloves and once the belt & gloves are finished it will ALL be embroidered!

New Tank Quotes are in, quite happy with them so I have ordered them!

(old tank which the base broke will be carved up and used for the new tanks to save a bit of coin and not waste glass).

The Display Tank - 240cm Long x 60cm Wide x 70cm Tall with a full internal Coast to Coast Overflow Weir, also a large divider in the middle of the tank creating two equal halves running from the front of the tank to the overflow so it's 1 overflow still also Starfire Glass (FRONT ONLY - rear, sides & base will be covered internally with acrylic sheeting).

The Sump Tank - 240cm Long x 40cm Wide x 60cm Tall with 6 compartments, where water enters the sump & leaves the sump being the smallest compartments whilst the other 4 are nice and large for Macro Algae, Live Rock & Various Live Foods, the last large compartment connecting to the final return pump compartment has a bubble trap in it to reduce bubbles in the display. (The OLD tank which the base broke is being carved up for the dividers in the new Sump Tank).

Hope to have the tanks within the next 7days maybe even sooner.

Had a bit of a slow down due to various ceremonies etc. that happen here...basically NOTHING happens fast here and because of the sheer amount of ceremonies the locals have literally in all sense of the word literally....people only work 6months a year if that because the rest is ceremonies...

However the glass man is coming here on Thursday (tomorrow) with the glass and will assemble the tanks here, I upgraded the tanks glass thickness to 1/2inch for extra security.

Once the tanks are here then it will be full steam ahead because the rest of its setup is completely on me and I won't need to rely on others (no ceremony interruptions).

Phase 2 is SOOOO close now!

I'm going to be doing a test today with one of my new secret weapons and I'll post the results so all can see what the future videos will be like!

Phase 2 won't officially start until early/beginning of next year, 2016.

But its going to be EPIC!!! :dance:

I have been testing 1 of my 2 'Secret Weapons' that are a major part of PHASE 2 Videos and I am really impressed with the capabilities of this device.

I've been making some very extreme high frame rate footage from 500FPS right up to a whopping 100,000FPS!

At first I used a fan and detailed various frame rate speeds from 23FPS, 500FPS, 5000FPS, 20000FPS, 40000FPS 80000FPS & 100000FPS.

This evening I managed to capture a dragon fly and record it at 5000FPS inside the jar and I am very impressed and more eager then ever to get back on track with the Mantis Shrimp!

Speaking of which I have heard from my tank maker and seen his progress, the tanks are nearly done and will be delivered on Monday!

However it does not change the fact that NO filming of mantis shrimp will commence until early next year simply because I am returning to Australia at the end of November and will not have the time between NOW and THEN to get it all active nor do I want to have animals in the tank whilst I am not here.

The test will be to see if the locals can maintain the "animal-less but running system" whilst I am not here because when I return the system should be more the cycled and mature for instant Mantis Shrimp placement (I'll likely pick up 2-3 on my way from the air port to here when I land early next January).

Also there is no point in filming yet simply because this particular device requires a VERY serious lighting setup unseen in normal aquariums and something that is impossible to find in this country so I will be buying the lighting system back in Australia and bringing it back with me here early next year to setup above the tank to maximize the full abilities of this high speed device.

FINALLY!

THE TANKS ARE DONE!

Well for the most part, they need to sit for 2weeks to allow the silicon to settle and harden before any water can go in then I will fill them and let them sit (but running) for another week, then after that last week (3weeks total) I will give the glass man his money.

What an ordeal -_-

To top it off the glass man didn't have any cutting disks bar 2...LUCKILY 1 of them was the perfect size for the ATO arm however the other 4 (dual input, the primary return & back up return) had to be carefully and with great paranoia widened in an unconventional manner by angling the cutting disk and apply pressure to sides to make the whole bigger then the cutter itself but in the end all 4 got done good!

With the amount I have spent on new photography & filming equipment I hope to Dominate and replace all...most of the equipment I have companies/institutions only rent out...

For example my UHD 4K video recorders memory cards alone cost $700each and can only record for 10min each but I have 3, that's jussst the memory cards :hmm3: the UHD 4K recorder can record in definitely if you have 3 cards, stores 2 in the camera records to 1, it fills then records to the 2nd allowing the 1st full card to be ejected and replaced with the 3rd whilst the 1st gets emptied onto PC and ready to replace the 2nd when it fills and so on and so forth.

I'm not going to be uploading in 4k simply because its a very heavy and slow process for people to view and 99% of people do not have a 4K TV but with it compressed down to the common 1080p it is 4x sharper then standard 1080P HD.

A special light is being utilized which is itself $5k as well...there is a LOT of money going into this PHASE 2 productions.
