Nice tank. I really like the flat shelf aquascape.
Thats what I wanted, something that I built once and could not change.
I just call em all wicked cool looking and colored Zoa's!
I can't keep up with names myself. Some seem to have several names!
It's a crazy Zoa world out there.
New pic's look great. The coloring is insane! Love it.
What ever you're doing keep it up. This tank is pretty sweet.

I prefer to let the frags gorw onto the rocks and then remove the disks as they look more natural this way. Some of my SPS are glued onto natural rocks as frags.

Hi Buddythelion- those red zoas are simply known as "Red Speckled Zoas"
They are a fast grower- They look amazing under actinic light.

What type of substrate is that?
Many people had problems with dark substrates before.
How long do you have the substrate in the system?
Some of the darker substrates (black sand and such) have metals to the point that if you use a magnet it will attach to it. Have you tested that yet?
Some people had problems starting after about 6 months of the initial set up...

Thanks for the replies!
I am using Aragalive Carib Sea for substrate. It Hawaii Black I think...
It's been in the tank for about 6 weeks.
