N E 1 using Prodibio?

I took the bait and ordered some Prodibio last night.
After fighting this brown crud in my tank for a year I thought WTH it can't hurt and its WAY cheaper the Zeo
I have been reading a lot about it and looks like a good alternative to Zeo(was never sold on that system, to much $ and work IMO) So I bit the bullet and will start next week.
I ordered,
Bioptim 12 Pack
REEF Booster 12 Pack
BIO Digest 12 Pack

I will take some pic's this week for a "before" shots and keep taking pics to compare.
Any one else using Prodibio in the club?

Doug

I am also very interested in this product. I may have to try it in the upcoming months. Keep us posted Doug.

I found out about Prodibio after I started Zeo. It is cheaper than Zeo for sure but Zeo has come down in prices a bit. Still cost more than Prodibio though I think. Im not sure why folks think zeo is too much work. Takes about a minute total for me daily. I am sold on Zeo but would like to hear about your experience on Prodibio. Doesnt Iwan use a combination of Prodibio and Zeo? I would love to see more Prodibio tank pics. Iwans is the only one I have seen so far. I have seen plenty of Zeo tank pics though. This is cool. Im glad there are members in our club experiment on different methods of reefing. Ill switch in a heartbeat if it works out.

I know you use the Zoe and know you like it, I just do not have room for another reactor and the start-up cost is prohibitive with it IMO
Not trying to bash Zeo at all :)

Yes I understand Iwan does use a combo of both but there are folks here on RC just using just Prodibio with good results.
So I will give it a try and see where it takes me ;)
Took pics today of most of the corals so I have the "Pre Prodibio" pic's
1 Month after I start I will take more and post them and every month there after :)

Doug, I know you wasnt bashing Zeo at all. It is pricey and I would love to see an alternative. Paul, Im not sure what just running just the zeolith would do.

Doug, I have been thinking about Prodibio and/or Polyp Lab. They are both reasonable in cost IF they work.

Hey Doug, I notice on your tank discription that you have 2 6100s. Nice! Are you still running the Vortech too? Thats some major flow you got.

Did the first dose Thr with Bioptim and Digest.
Only noticeable thing right now is amazing clear water and the moment this stuff hit the water the PE on most of the corals went goofy.
Even my brains extend there feeders.
The Brown junk "seems" on the retreat but it has done that before.
SO not to much just yet
Next dose is Thr and will not dose Reef Booster till about week 4

Doug, what is the schedule for using Prodibio? Is it as demanding as Zeo? Sorry Russ, not saying Zeo's a handful, but even if it requires attention of 30 seconds a day I still have to be there for the 30 seconds which means no vacations possible...

The Bioptim and Digest once a week for the first 4 weeks then every 15 days there after
The Reef Booster once a week.
This is per there instructions but other folks kinda adapt it to the tank and how it reacts to the doses
And this is only the "BIG 3" As there are a few more that I chose not to dose

Ooooh! I like that dosing schedule! Not a daily thing like zeo. Like I said, if its cheaper and it works, Im there!

Doug, here's a dumb questions but they say the vials are glass... Do the shatter when you open them? Do they have a clean break? I'm just concerned with glass shards going everywhere with the little guy around...
