Nano Carpet

My LFS has green carpet anemone probably about 10" across and its only a bit smaller than the tank its in, It looks great! full colour eating well good foot attachment and everything the tank its in probably holds about 10gallon, so can i move it to my 15gallon that is 24" long and about as wide as the tank the carpets in, Also what lighting would be better the LFS has just HO T5 bulbs not halides, so is it possible?

Would not recommend it long term. T5's would likely be enough for most carpets.

Species ID is key with such a question, but one that is 10" now is not likely a smaller species, i.e. tapetum or adhaesivum. I would pass on that experiment and consider the two just mentioned.

what about a BTA or Malu

Bta would be cool in a nano as far as carpets they grow way to big for such a sm a environment!

so a BTA would be fine, ive seen them thriving in nanos before
