DO you think 3-14" is enough or overkill? Maybe 2 of the Large Tubes? I am just kind of thinking about 3 of those domes on the roof in the same basic spot might be a little unsightly.

I've just started reading your build thread.
and at this point you say you may need to add 2 more solar tubes.
I have plans to use solar tubes for my future 250 build and had desided to use 4 14" tubes that way all I need is some T5 actinics, it seems it will be more cost effective and use less electricity.
Did you add two more tubes or are you staying with 2 and HQI's?

I am sticking with 2 solartubes. Going to get my hands on some LEDs and switch out the two 400watts MH and see how it go. I like the solartube; but it is just too yellow for my taste. The best part is it provide the dawn to dust effect natually and we are going green :lol:

What type of wrassses are they? Also can i see a picture of your 140? Is that your 446L tank? if you cant get a picture maybe a fish stock list?

Those are Redtail Tamarin Wrasses from Hawaii. Currently here is my fish list on the 446L tank.

2 - Redtail Tamarin Wrasse
1 - Achillie Tang
1 - Yoshi Goby with a Candy Pistol shrimp

2 - cleaner shrimps
1 - bloodred shrimps.

Too much Controversy with some self proclaim Reef Fish Oracles :mad2: on my Achillie tangs. I have started a build on another site.
