Nano Stream 6025 does not re start after power outage

As the title states. The pump does not come back on after being unplugged or a power outage. It used to start with the impeller rattling a bit which you said was normal. Now nothing.

I took it out cleaned it, tested in the sink and it ran. I clip it in the bracket in the tank and no go. If I fiddle with it and bang it it goes.

What's up with this???

Thanks

Is the shaft in tact? If the shaft does not remain in the pump permanently, this is the cause. If the shaft does remain in the pump, a worn disk or drive unit is likely the cause.

I don't know if I can answer that online.

Are you saying the impeller shaft? The whole impeller comes out with a metal "shaft" on it. The plastic prop comes off.
Not sure exactly what you mean??

LOL, that is the cause of the problem. The shaft should be permanently fixed in the motor. We need to replace your motor.

OK, how do we do that. Do you still have my info? I returned the pump to you when I first got it. You sent me a UPS label.

I just looked at the online manual and no, the metal shaft does not stay in the motor as the picture shows. It comes out on the impeller.
