nano stream 6045

If I remember correctly the release date is tentatively september. Is there a pre-order or a waiting list I can get on to make sure I get my grubby paws on them first :D ?

Also, for curiosity's sake: Do you have a price for the 9420 master skimmer? What is its footprint? Does it have the same footprint and skimmer body as the 9440, and the only difference between the 2 is that the 9440 has 2 pumps?

TIA

These dates are only tentative, I have yet to see us or most other German companies meet their proposed release dates. No one I know of is taking preorders yet.

The 9420 has a 19" footprint and is 23" tall. They will cost $708.63, the 9440 is the same, just 2 pumps and you can add the second pump to the 9420 later as well, the cumulative cost is the same and it requires no modifications except shortening the standpipe and I believe you get the shorter one as well with the skimmer.

I am also very interested in the nano streams and would like to preorder asap.

Quick question Roger: will the smaller nanostreams be suitable for use with a wavemaker. ie will they be up to the rigors of shutting off and on repetitively?

If roger will allow me to put words in his mouth, I believe he said that 5mins would be the absolute minimum on/off interval, with 15mins being the recommended low on/off interval.

Yes, initially we thought they would work well on a wavemaker because they have a patented new system for ensuring the correct rotation direction that doesn't use brakes but if you turn them off and on all the time the prop assembly will rattle and make noise and eventually break, 5 min is the absolute bare minimum but 15 minutes would be much smarter.

Yes, excepting the 6055 running on the multicontroller since the electronics prevent a backwards rotation from occuring so the start up problem is eliminated.

Cool.. Then 2 6055's and the multicontroller is now on the my shopping list..

Lets release these bad boys already.. Im half tempted to go with 2 6000's with the multi controller and then buying the 2 6055's and reusing the controller and selling the 6000's..

Till the 6055's work on the same controller??

Sorry to hijack the thread sorta.
