Nano Stream mounts been fixed?

I ordered a 6045 a few weeks back and I couldn't be happier with it. Since purchasing I have read a number of posts about the mounts breaking. I figure that this is a issue Tunze will address just wondering if they already have. I plan on ordering a couple more of the pumps but don't want to do so unless I am sure they won't suffer the same fate as others have had.

Yes they were redesigned about a year ago, it is very doubtful that any you purchase now would have the old brackets. The posts you have seen are for the old style which had problems and have been replaced as they have broken.

I figured that Roger would replace them. He is a great guy to deal with. I just don't want the headache if it can be avoided. It is good to know the problems have been resolved as the pump is great!

Yes, in October 2007 we changed the plastic and modified the design slightly and this solved the problem, it only persisted so long as so many pumps were already in the supply pipe line and it took longer than we would have liked to track them down and replace them in our dealers stock. At this point it is very rare to get an old clamp, it still happens though due to bad stock rotation practices at some of the wholesalers but it is extremely rare.
