Nassarius snails territorial?

i have 2 nass snails in my tank, I added 2 more today and one of the original snails will randomly pick one of the 2 new ones to follow/harass etc. even if they are buried, he'll come over and try and bury himself right on top of them.

a little earlier it looked like he was trying to crawl into the other ones shell for a bit.

is this normal behavior?

Never noticed that, I have two right now. One is a tiger nass. and the other is just a regular one I guess. I did have three but even then I never saw them do anything like that.

as soon as I put the new ones in the tank, i threw some squid in just to give them a little snack. immediately my big nass chased one of the new ones up the tank wall to the waters edge and was all over him/her. climbing all over its shell and trying to stick its tube up into the other ones shell lol. the "victim" eventually just dropped off the glass.

then a bit later it tried to bury itself on top of the other new one, the followed it after it got free (the "victim" quickly ran and buried itself) and buried itself right next to it.

they're all just chilling in the sand right now...
