Can you keep him in good condition in the HT? Great light, water and water movement? If you do, just treat him for at least 4-5 days then stop for a few days to see if he deflates. If he does not deflates, then he can go into the DT. Do you have any anemones in your DT?

I think I can keep it in good condition in the HT. Light, water movement and water changes shouldn't be a problem. Obviously, the big benefit of moving to the DT is not having to maintain a second tank. However, I'd rather not push it if there is any concern about health. As far as the DT is concerned, there are no other anemones in there. Here's tonight's update pic.

So I tried not treating for a couple days and found the anemone floating upside down the second morning. Got it settled again and have been treating again. Seems to be doing ok, but it has settled in the middle of the tank, on the edge of the heavy light area (I have light focused on one end and equipment on other. So, should I move the light or up the flow? Should I try to feed a little? I'm not sure it is getting enough light, but it doesn't seem eager to move at this time. Still inflated with good extension. Just trying to stay ahead of any issues. Thanks.

Any recent picture?
Is he improving?
I would not move him. If he like more light, he will craw to it.I would place something movable against the anemone. They often attach to it. When the time come, it is much easier to take a mug with the anemone on it and put it into the DT.

Here's some pics from this afternoon.

Well, here's some pictures from today. To be honest, I really thought it would move more towards the light. Instead, it is attached on the side of the tank, and seems to be staying put. So, it got me thinking, where am I going to want to start it out in my DT? I've attached a pic of my DT as well for reference (sorry not a great pic, but gives an idea of the layout). I was thinking higher up on the right side, but based on its behavior in the HT, not sure I want to start it that high. Is it easier for them to move up or down the rockwork? Just looking for input from other reefers. Thanks.

The last couple days the gig has looked more "lively", so I am planning to move it to the DT. So, my next questions are, what is the best way to get it off the glass and what is the best way to handle it when I place it in the DT? I've moved BTAs before, but they weren't as sticky. Thanks!

Use a clean plastic bag and put it over the anemone then you can remove him without worry about loosing tentacles. Anemone will not stick to clean glass and will not stick to clean plastic for long. Once you get him over to the new tank he will let go of the plastic quickly

You can disturbs the anemone with a clean piece of glass, a cup or something inert, to get him to retracted a little so you can fit the plastic over him

Well, I moved the gig to the DT last Wednesday. The first day or so, things seemed to be going ok. But the last few days it seems to be deteriorating. I've attached photos from this afternoon. It has been attached to the glass bowl since its time in the HT. It hasn't attempted to move that I can tell, simply has reduced itself to fit in the bowl, which doesn't seem good. Thought I would check here for any ideas. Do I simply need to start treating it with Cipro again? Thanks in advance.

Wow, finally fed it tonight and couldn't believe how quickly it took the food. Only fed a couple small pieces, but looking a little better already. So, do I feed again tomorrow?

Every 3rd days only. Often it take them that long to digest. I don't want to feed my anemone when there are still undigested food in him. You can try double the amount next time.
