Need Coral ID

Hi,

The large poylop in the photo is soft and splits once it reaches a certain size. I have never seen these before but, they showed up in my tank a few years ago on a piece of old LR.

What are they ?

Those are anemones of some sort- not sure exactly what kind though, sorry.

They are. I've seen them before - once - and it must have been 10 years ago. That time too they came as hitchhikers. 'Fraid I can't remember what the ID on them at the time was.

Pretty animals and certainly a rarity in the hobby.

Looks like rock flower anemones. Very pretty color too!

cool looking anemone,the tentacles don't look like a rock anemone.I am not sure rock anemones split,mine never did and they got around 8'' across.

Not rock anemone. Looks a lot like a Phymanthus sp. anemone too, but not sure, never seen anything like it. If you start selling them LMK though. Very cool looking.
