Just to clarify, that is a dwarf cerith snail with a mushroom attached to it's shell :P He's been crawling around with that thing for a few days now.
 
Enjoy the mobile scenery, there are some locals that promote this sort of thing. IIRC there are crabs with SPS and Zoas, LOL
 
You'll need a table saw and several sizes of vice grips,
a lazer for allignment
lots of patience
and perfect timing......

I used to have a nice 'furball' astrea that was covered in some type of hairy brown fuzzy algae. Poor fella would get chased by all the other snails. Now that I think about it, watching snails chase each other is kinda similar to watching grass grow or paint dry. not very exciting.
 
I have several snails covered in red feather algae and once had a hermit with a zoa attached to his shell. It hardly ever opened though because it was always bumping into rocks
