Hello All:
I just set up a 46 gallon overflow tank (zero edge) and I'm having problems with murky water.
How i set it up
1. set up all the plumbing
2. added water (water was clear)
3. added live sand (30#)
==THEN WATER GOT MURKY (as always)==
4. added rocks live
the pump has been running for about 3 days now
I removed the filter "socks" (I left them on when i turned the pump off and it got clogged with sand)
I have filter floss over the pump area on the pump and i added 2 bags of carbon.
I dont think the water is cloudy due to cycleing ? way too soon right?
what should I do? I was thinking of doing a complete water change...
I have never had this problem before, the water is usually just murky for the first 24 hr max for me..
Thanks in advance
