Need help! DIY LED advice needed for 29G cube....

Can anyone give me insight on what is needed to light a 29g cube with mainly LPS and maybe SPS at the top? I was looking into the AI SOL nano. Is there anyone that built a neat DIY fixture for a cube for under $300 with programmable or dimmable capability?

You shouldn't need to spend any more than $150 to DIY LED's on a 29g tank.

I spent about that to light my 10g, but I used 36 LED's, which should be plenty for a 29g.
