Hey guys
I know i posted about a month ago that we're trying to do some research with Astrangea at Dowling.
Well we have specimens that are a few years old but I really need some fresh frags/colonies. So if anybody is still diving and willing to collect some for the project it would be much appreciated. Ill try to compensate you in any way i can.
Thanks a lot guys!

Tom (fishome) goes out to Ponquogue often. He's probably your best bet. Otherwise you can try contacting the The Dive Club, usually members of that club diving Ponquogue every weekend. Good bunch of people that would be more than happy to help a bona fide research project.

Sorry, ive been so busy i havent had a chance to come back and check this thread. I was already in contact with fishome. He was kind enough to offer his services but i couldnt work it out. If theres anyone else around please contact me. PM me your number or PM me and ill send you mine, either way.
Thanks guys.
Fishome did tell me a good piece of advice tho, that if i went out there on a given weekend, the divers at the bridge would probably be more than willing to help me out.
I might just head out there solo and take my chances sometime soon.
Thanks again to Fishome(Tom)

Is there anybody willing to still help this program before Winter really sets in?? I will try to make a cash donation to anyone who can help. Ill see if its in the Schools budget and if not ill do it myself. We really need as many colonies as possible. So if anyone thinks they can collect some Astrangea spp. Please let me know ASAP. Thank you so much.

Contact The Dive Club. I guarantee they have a couple of members that would be happy to help you out.
