Hi! I'm looking for 2-3 strong guys to help me to move my 120 gal setup(a tank and a stand) from the living room to the basement sometimes this weekends. Shouldn't take more than 20 min, I think. I'm in Aurora but close to Fox Valley mall.

If you can help me, please kindly let me know:)

I don't know about the strong part, but, I can help whenever (as long as it's not during the Bears game).

Chris,

Thanks for your offer! You sure are stronger than me:) Have to stop by your place to check out your clowns too.

Do you still have my #?

Joe and Dan,

Thanks for your offer! Really appreciate it. Let me talk with Chris first and see what time will work for him.

Thanks.

Joe,

It's an empty tank, that's why it shouldn't take that long:)

By the way is this tank empty? or is it a complete setup you are moving?

ykh, i have a furniture moving 2 wheel cart with straps on it. I used it to move my tank. it has wheels on it so it goes down stairs flawlessly. let me know if you are interested in using it. This weekend is busy for me, but I am on terminal leave until october 5 and don't have anything going on during the week at all.

Thanks Rod!!

yeah, the cart works wonder. just tighten the strap to hold it in place and it's a one man job from there.

With Joe helping , you may not need the cart :). especially if you didnt have to go down the stairs, but with stairs, I still recommend the cart, otherwise the guy on top is going to have a sore back, and the guy on bottom will have a lot of weight.

ozzman,

Thanks for your generous offer on the cart, I appreciate it. But we want to have the tank moved by this weekends. Also, my basement's staircase is narrow, I'm not sure if having it on cart will help.

Sorry ykh! I am moving back to homer glen here when my place downtown sells, so I will be closer to all the people in the burbs and be able to help out more. good luck with the move!

No prob at all, welcome back!

Rod,

I know that you are a strong guy, I think you can move it all by yourself, right?:)
