Need Help in Moving 120 gal to the Basement

one thing to consider though, having the tank on the cart guarantees that it wont bow or bend while moving it.
 
I agree that's a very good point. I'm assuming by using the cart, I will have to put the tank stand up vertically? If that's the case, it won't work in my staircase.

I was able to get my stand on the cart and into a small elevator in my building and then down a narrow hallway that has some weird angles in it without any problem.

With the cart, yes :smokin: .. When I have to move 180s around and there is no one around to help.. ... The carts come in handy
 
thats exactly it. sorry i can't help ya out man. didn't mean for ya to have to spend money and rent one. however, i think you will be glad you used one.
