Need help, not sure about what's up worth my fish

That looks like classic Ich, white spots and all. Is your tank fish only?

Yes but this is my QT tank. This is day 12 of acclimation and observation from the new purchase. I haven't performed any prophylactic treatment was awaiting to see if anything showed up. Odd thing is they seem fine and the spots are only there when i first turn on lights before heading to work, when I return there all gone. Same thing happened yesterday, that being the first I noticed.

Well the QT tank may have been sterile but the fish could have had an ich infection that came out due to the stress of the transfer. And the white spots coming off is typical of the ich cycle to me. That parasite is such an *******. It gives you the feeling everything is ok bc it drops off and disappears, only to reappear a few days later.

Ive never had success treating Ich. Ive done TTM, CP, Copper, and my fish still have it. So god speed, others who actually know more than me should be able to help here.

That sure looks like ich. That they dropped means that now is the time to treat. They are only susceptible to treatment when they are free swimming, so don't hesitate or those clowns are in for a far greater infestation in a few days... Good luck!

Okay I'll start with removing water and introducing fresh via drip to bring the salinity down to 1.008 and let that remain for at least several weeks before bringing it back up. Thanks for the feedback
