I have had this little guy for almost two weeks now, and he is finally starting to show himself enough for a photo-op. He(Mugen) is small, about knuckle length. I was thinking chiraga, but im not sure thought i would post a few pics to see what you think. Will post better pics as opportunity presents.

I wish I could make out the telson. The eyes and carapace look like Gonoactylellus affinis, but the telson (from what I can see of it) does not look right.

I have no idea of the species but I had to say I Love the name! Samurai Champloo rocked!! Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on where you got the name. But if I'm right you get big cool points for that one. My mantis' name is Dann of Thursday, also originating from anime.:)

yeah, love champloo. Going to the Anime-con in Atlanta in sept. it is like the largest in the country.
When i got home from work last night my shrimp had barricaded himself in his den by pulling up one of the large black grains of sand, dont know what he was doing: couldn't have been molting b/c he is out today? I think its just something he does to sleep, this is however the first time i have witnessed it:)
I fully intend to post more, and better pics soon.
Thanks
