Need help with my ATO

I have a tunze osmolator that I bought about a year ago and it''s worked great until the last two times I cleaned my ro/di container and took the ato pump out, then when I put it back in the container with ro/di water, as soon as I turn the ato on and it stops at the green light, it keeps pouring water in even when the sensor light is already green and EVEN if I turn the controller off, the pump still keeps pouring water from the outlet until. I have to take out the pump out of the water for it to stop pouring water.

What's going on with the pump? Is it malfunctuning? I did nothing else than take it out for just 10 minutes and i did turn it off before taking it out. It has never run dry or anything. I don't know what to do since I'm afraid to leaving it on and then it crashed my tank by putting too much ro/di water in my sump. :sad1:

I already tried moving the pump itself at different heights in the ato container and it keeps doing it. the output hose is just about an inch above the water line in my sump. It never did anything like this before and I have been doing the same steps when i clean my ro/di container

If the pump is not running and water continues to flow, you have a siphon. A siphon will form anytime the end of the hose is below the water level of the reservoir, this is best avoided by having a reservoir in the cabinet and topping off to your tank. Gravity is the only sure siphon prevention. You can either raise the hose or lower the water level of the reservoir.

I lowered the water level in my ro container and it's not doing it anymore but now the output hose doesn't reach to my sump.

Where can I buy this kind of hose and what type/size it's it? I need at least 6' of it.

Thanks!

Tunze.com has it, part number 5000.390 and 5000.380

I used regular RODI (Ice Maker) tubing on mine with no issue and it fit well enough.
