Well Ive had my tank up since july 07 and havent added much. So far in the tank I have to false clowns, zoas, and a bunch of snails. Ive been looking online and have been to 3 diffent fish stores and really dont know what I want. I added the clowns in september and the zoas in december. Forgot to mention I have also about 50 pounds of LR. For equipment Ive got a
Aquatinics T5 hood with 5 bulbs x 54w
protein skimmer
life reef over flow
30g sump/fuge
2 koriela #3's
heater
RO/DI unit
mag7 pump
phospan reactor TLF
Refractometer
20g quarintine tank
reef test kit
And I know Im missing something else.

What are some livestock I can add with what Ive got ? Im just stumped on what to buy be it coral , fish or inverts. Im waiting the full term on buying an anenome for the clowns.

I have boring taste in fish. You could get a book like Scott Michael's "Reef Fishes", which I enjoy reading and is very useful.

my favorite coral righ not has to be my plate

Oops, meant to suggest this book:

<a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1890087483/reeflink" target="_blank"><b>Aquarium Corals</b></a><br>Selection, Husbandry, and Natural History<br><i>by Eric Borneman</i><br><a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1890087483/reeflink" target="_blank"><img src="http://images.amazon.com/images/P/1890087483.01.TZZZZZZZ.jpg"></a>

I do plan on picking that book up

PM me if you want some suggestions. I have a 55 as well. I can tell you what to do, and (what not to do) based on my experience so far.

ahullsb, Why not post those suggestions here. Many others have similar tanks, I'm constantly looking for ideas.

For my 55g, which has modest lighting but good circulation, I have a couple of fish (not looking to add more fish), LR and a several small Kenya trees. While honing my skills at keeping good quality water, I'd like to develop a plan for coral additions. I'd love to hear any of your suggestions.

Not too long ago there was a thread titled something like "So you want to keep a reef tanks....." I wish I book marked it.
