i had bought it from freaking e-bay(not emerald bay)....this post might have been a tad fast on my part as i wasnt told by anyone you should run it for a bit before testing the tds so ill re test it in a bit and see what my readings are before i say it's bad for sure or not but like Rhett told me ya have to watch who ya buy things from and i just jumped on this because it was much cheaper then anyone else

i checked and yea my old membrane gives me 30ppm and this supposed new one shoots out around 90ppm so yeah im emailing back and forth and yea im getting greef from the dealer on ebay....funny how when i give him my number to call me and i say should i talk to paypal about this the emails seem to stop and i get no replies......can anyone tell me if sean at emerald bay can get me a filmtec membrane? i have some credit with them and i want to see if i can it on that while i get the other filters and di from Rhett while i deal with this total $%&# on ebay....again not to be misstaken with the cool dudes sean and scott at emerald bay

Hmmm... well hopefully you will get it straightened out. Does it have a brand name? was it new in the package or used to begin with?

thanks Bill and pickup....it seems as though i have fixed this problem and actually have a working membrane that shoots 10 or so ppm after the membrane....i do however still need the di resin and want to replace the carbon and sediment....thanks Bill for the link heads up,i dont normally even check those out but i will now
