Need some help with Apex after a power outage

I just had a big storm here and the power flickered twice, resetting my apex. No big deal, this has happened before, except now my Apex display is telling me both of my EB8s are unplugged. The bigger problem is both of the EB8s are constant green, telling me they are receiving information. The amp usage isn't displayed at all on the display module. The date and time are correct from the internet adjustment.

So I really need some help here. I've tried resetting my breakers and plugging and replugging in the EB8s. When I plug the one EB8 in my Vortechs start up for a second and then go dead. My display is telling me everything is functioning as normal but nothing plugged into and EB8 is working. What is going on?

It sounds like the base module isn't communicating with the EB8's although I can't explain why they have a green status light. The reason they fire up for a minute then go 'dead' as you say is the outlets turn on for a brief couple of seconds until the EB8 loads its firmware. Then it goes to fallback mode by outlet.

Try moving the USB cable between the EB8 and the controller to different jacks and see if that wakes them up.

Good idea but I tried all of them and nothing. After over an hour of plugging and replugging outlets and usb connections still nothing. I just reset the Apex and now it won't even show either of the EB8s even though they are both constant green. I give up.

I guess I'm going to have to wait till the morning and call Neptune.

If you're comfortable doing it, I'd reload the firmware and the web pages. Won't hurt at this point. Make sure EB8's are plugged in if/when you do.

Ya there isn't much to lose, I already reset it. Reload with 4.05? I have no idea whats going on.

Problem solved, Eugene is the man! He took over my Apex remotely and worked his magic. Not sure what it was exactly but he changed something with the EB8s. Now to reprogram everything.
