Need to move Nem to HT, won't let go of QT

My Nem is holding on to the bottom of my QT pretty good, but I need to move it to HT to start Cipro treatment. Any guidance to cause them to let go?

Get some ice cubes. Rub them near it's foot. It should contract to the point that you should be able to get under it's foot with your finger or a credit card and remove it. 9 times out of 10, I've found the ice cube trick works like a charm.

Not on it's foot. Just make the cold water flow by it, and it will retract some.
