Needed: Old Tanks for black Onyx

Progress has been made.
I am in need of a long tank like a 55. I can fix up an old broken tank/sump. I need to baffle a long tank to set up high efficiency biological fluidized sand bed filters to handle ammonia from rotifers and keep newly hatched fry in small volume with rotifers for feeding purposes. 20 gallon long and up would be an improvement.

I have an old acrylic tank that you can have. It was going to be used as a sump so it is kinda of beat up and has holes drilled in the top but it holds water. Let me know.

I also have 40 gallons breeder you can use. I don't need it now but will need it when I set up my larger tank.

And if you need it, I have a couple of 120 gallon acrylic tanks you can also use for a while, a couple of months at least.

Baja, I think Norm (Soosberries) has a bunch of tanks if he hasn't sold them off. He's a packrat. PM him. Between him and Van, I'm sure they can cover you.

I have a tank that is 28 gallons, but its 60 inches long, 12 inches high, and 9.5 inches front to back, but it would need to be re-siliconed.

Would something like that work?

The Acrylic will work

Between Vans acrylic and your 28 I can build the contraption I need.
I have big square glass tanks, but the 28 is perfect to setup the low flow hatching/rotifer feeding tank. The acrylic tank will make it easy to modify for the fluidized sand filters/filter chambers I need to remove ammonia. This a patch and glue project, so the tanks will never be the same. My 10 gallon tanks are just to small and the bioassay salt to expensive.

I have an old standard 55 that I resiliconed myself. It was an ugly job, but it does hold water. It is free to you or anyone else who needs it.
