Nem accident! Help!

I have kept an RBTA in my nano for about a month now under par30s. It never really colored up too well and always shriveled after two hours so i feel like i should dim the light. I was doing a water change near it the other day and thought it was still attached to the rock it was on but it wasn't and got sucked into the tube and into the bucket! :headwallblue::headwallblue: It has looked stressed out and shriveled for the last day and i don't know how to help it. should i lower my light time (8 hours to 6 or so)? I really can't quarantine it because I don't have a tank to do so. Any advice is appreciated. I will post a picture tomorrow.

What else is in the tank. Is there any missing parts from the nem? Is there a tear on its foot (important to know and evaluate survival rate). I have had one go down the overflow into the sump. It looked ****ed for about a month and recovered.

I think as I have learned on RC and other forums give as much info as possible to make it easier for others to give you the correct advice. As far is it not looking good, provide the pics so we can see where its at in the tank.

Without knowing anything else, if its not damaged, theres nothing in the tank that will bother its recovery, you fix the lighting situation and its staying on the rock, it will more than likley be okay providing you had an established reef tank and all rbta requirements in the first place. AKA if the tank is months old from scratch it will most likely die. If the tank isnt constant in temp, chemical make up, normal water changes the same fate may persist.

Im no expert, just had a rbta in a 34g that split for 2 years. Taught me a lot and finally had to give to a fellow reefer due to the enormous size.

good luck
