I rescued these clowns and this nem from a tank that was crashing so to speak. The nem looks a little bleached and the bigger clown bullies the smaller one a bit and wont let him in the nem and when they sleep at night he has to sleep on the side but not in the nem. Is this behavior normal? Also what kind of nem is this, the spotted coloring is throwing me off.
Thanks
Connor

Btw the behavior is normal, and it doesn't look like its bleached to me maybe a tiny bit looks good. What kind of set up do you have lights ect?

I have a 40 breeder, 175 MH reeflux 12k, Reef Octopus skimmer (bh-100f), other inhabitants are some zoas, 3 hammers, some organ pipe coral, and a galaxea, some snails, and a flame angel. I intend to get a cleaner shrimp and a birds nest coral. I do 8-10 gallon water changes every 10 days. Tank has been up about a year exactly. As far as feeding, I am doing it mysis every 5 days or so. One part is bleached I think it was like that when i got it but he wasn't very happy until I got him into my tank. I will up load some pictures of the other stuff soon.

FWIW, it does not appear bleached. These anemones will develop patches in those areas where clowns nip and are generally a bit more boisterous. Your pair may be nibbling the rock in that vicinity.
