Went to a lfa today had a beautiful nem listed as green LTA for $45 that I almost bought but I don't think it's a LTA as the tentacles aren't real long and the foot/body of this nem was a vibrant purple. A pair of hybrid clarkii clowns we're hosting it. I put it on hold as I think it's a H. Mag but of course my phone was dead. Hoping you guys can help me I feel confident keeping it regardless of it being mag or LTA just want to know what I'm biting off and place it in higher flow if mag. Either way $45 I thought is a steal based on color alone. Tentacles seemed well inflated, mouth was tight, foot looked real nice had a good grip no visible damage that I could see. Hope my description is enough to get you guys to a positive ID.

Not a great shot just got him acclimated here's a foot shot lights off for now....

Base on foot only I say you are stuck between LTA or Mag/Ritteri and could also be a purple base bta like my green bta

Took him back :( I noticed a rip in its foot which I attributed to his detachment process they're going to nurse it back to health and I'll scoop him up in a few weeks if all is well. I'll keep you posted.

That look like a BTA or less likely Magnifica. Look at the mouth, if there are short white radial lines radiated from the mouth, then he is a BTA.
There is no way that he can be any other host anemone species. Not a LTA for sure unless you consider BTA and Magnifica have long tentacles ;)

No kidding. I'll look for those lines Minh when I go check up on it. Not really in the market for another bta but that purple foot is pretty great wouldn't mind having that in my tank was just hoping I scored a deal on the fish store haha.
