nem split....

well i noticed this in the morning and thought, What the??? Did something happen to my nem?

Then this popped up out of the other side of the rock

I wonder if the clowns deciding to host in it stressed it out and made it split?

Well, guess I have two smaller nems now. Clowns seem lost though.

Maybe they find my other giant to host. But then it might decide to split too!

It's very possible that the clowns moving into it is what caused it to split. They have to be either very happy or stressed.

So i was wondering why the two nems looked so much smaller than the original one

It's because I found this hiding under another rock!

I couldn't get a good shot of it. But this one is much larger. You can some what make out the diameter of the foot. It's much thicker than the other two.

Is it common for a double split like this?

Interesting. That's cool they split, now you have more nems haha. I guess it's possible but for them to split that fast is crazy.

i think it double up because of the spot it was attached. you can see in the first pic a long strand of its foot still clinging on. I wonder if it sheared itself after it started to split. so i ended up with three instead of two.

Who knows. I just hope all three are ok. I want the big guy to come out from under that rock!

I can actually see the third in the original post second pic now that i take a closer look. Funny how I didn't yesterday.
