So when I originally got this rbta the maroons would pull it off the rock with their loving. Now it is twice the size a little bigger than the maroon. When I got it it was in poor condition but I thought heck new tank I'll try to heal him hit or miss. Last night he moved from his cave and into the light (assuming he is regaining his zoo) will the maroon slow or halt its progress?

he will never stop, my Maroon pair has been in all of my BTAs for months and they still slam into them bite them wiggle around all day long. The nems just have to be large enough for it not to bother them. it helps that I have 6 in my tank so they space out there love in all of them :lmao:

Alright any recommendations? My Maroon has bean depressed and hiding under a ledge since I got rid of his pal ever since he found the nem he has bean active again would hate to change anything.

Yeah I can get one of those not for an hour or two though. I'll probably have to do something he is inflating and closing I would have thought he was trying to eat the maroon lol... Sorry just kinda Idk have to admire for a second I could never appreciate the size of this guy up untill now. When I first got him a month ago he was like one inch across right now hes idk 4 or 5.

the easiest thing to do if you have a youtube account and the app on your phone is to take like a 30 sec video and upload it using the youtube app (Takes like 5 seconds) and then you just copy and past the embedded code and the video will pop up here. Ive always found it easier than uploading the picture to a website.

ive got a few like that as well, Im not sure if they end up separating or not. Someone with more knowledge might be able to tell you.

Here's some pics.

the anemone is very bleached and that is a tomato clown. Tomato are as aggressive as maroon but ive never owned one so Im not sure how they are with their nems. I would keep the nem separated and feed it fresh shrimp from the grocery store. But im def not saying it couldn't survive with the clownfish in it.

Alright yeah when I first got it it was completely white :P. I have a floating basket I'll set him in till he grows large enough. Last time I did that he bailed though.

From what I know of A. melanopus (which this seems to be) is that in the wild you almost always find them in larger clusters of BTA clones. O had a pair of them and they were pretty rough on their anemones. Premnas (maroons), while aggressive to other fish, are not as rough with their anemones (they usually inhabit solitary BTAs in the wild).

I have a pair of clarkii clowns and they also LOVE love my nems. it's hilarious, isn't it?? When I got my first nem, they female went to it in less than 5 minutes. I swear, the nem hadn't even set it's foot down yet. I was actually concerned!

There's not much cooler than the clownfish/nem combo in this hobby.
