nem twisting/losing tentacles??

Clowns are known to do it to anemones from time to time and no one really knows why.

I will try to post pics tonight. About 1/4" from the base of the tentacle twists tightly, and they pop off. The tentacle stump is sealed up from the twisting, and it seems like they are growing slowly. It's a healthy nem, but i don't know why it is doing this.

Its probably the clowns like anemonebuff said.

i haven't seen the clowns do this yet, it seems like it happens from just flow. even with the flow being now at a minimum.
