Nemateleotris Magnifica (firefish)

For a little under a week now my firefish has not been eating...well, maybe it is eating when I am not looking. It seems like it sees the food and scoots backwards away from it. I am feeding mysis. She's been eating it for about two weeks prior. My firefish also seems to be hiding a lot more often...

I know firefish are skittish and shy, but I was wondering if i should be concerned?

Mysids may just be a bit big for it. I feed my Helfrich's Cyclop-eeze and flake. You may try that. Normally they'll eat just about anything that floats by.

If it's hiding a lot it's possible the clowns are bothering it. Any evidence of this?

Even the smallest version of Formula One Sinking Pellet can work, but Cyclopeeze is what they'll pretty well go for. Mysis seems pretty big for them.

Actually, it did eat mysis because often times some pieces of the frozen mysis (after thawing) fall into smaller pieces which it took readily before. The clowns are not harassing the firefish, because the clowns were just added today.
Someone is giving me some cyclop-eeze later this week, so hopefully that will work. Although my firefish usually doesn't come to the surface...when it was eating it would normally grab it as it floated by.

Have you tried soaking it in Garlic Extreme ( or same type ) ... the garlic helps in the hunger or feeding response... My fish go crazy when I add this stuff. Espically on newer or weakend fish.
