Nemo's blue footed gigantea

Seems to be coloring up nicely. it looks nice and healthy. i like that blue look too, I've seem one in person, but I hear that the blue foot usually morphs after awhile in captive lighting.

Looking great. Feed him more. He is not entirely recovered yet. Healthy Gigantea have much longer tentacles than your's

I was doing water changes and messing with it so yeah it was a little angry at me... Hehehe

Thanks for the nice comments...

Is it just my crappy phone and my eyes playing tricks or does some of the tentacles give off that redbhugh like garys does?

Nemo,
How much light do you have on him? It does look like it have multi-colors from reddish to greenish.

Now that y'all mention that I see the red... Strange? I use 4 T5 ... Not sure on the combination of the bulbs but I know there aren't any red bulbs... Must be my iPhone camera catching some red tones from somewhere else not sure where...

Quick update

This guy has been in my system for nearly 4 months eating on a regular basis with krill mysis salmon. Took a picture with flash on with cheap camera phone. Like Orion said the flash does show the true colors.

You may notice after time that the blue color will fade.

Most times i have seen them fade to cream color or tan.

The ones with a blue base are some of the hardest to keep alive, this is a achievement!

So far so good and the blue base still hasn't fade yet. 3 gigs has Blue foot and my purple gig has a tannish reddish fading blue foot. Lets hope they all survive. Thanks
