I read the owners manual for the AC jr but I could not find an answer to this question.

Can the AC jr use BOTH the DC8 AND the IM513 X10 module at the same time?

I know on the DC8 page it says that the IM513 can be placed at the end but I could not find anything saying how to do it with the AC jr.

i beleive the answer is no on the X10 and DC8.
you must choose either the DC8 or X10 to control your power, not both.
so you can either daisy chain a few more DC8s or go X10s all the way.

is there a thread on the Aquacontroller Jr? i have question and info.
Mainly i want to setup another mode, like Feed Mode, but i want to call it Clean Mode, and have it to turn off some pumps and turn other pumps on in one step. Also, i cant figure out the data log thing. And one more, was there an option to connect your cpu via rs-232 cable to send and receive the settings?

Actually I was told by Neptune that you CAN use the X10 in conjunction with the DC8 as long as the X10 is chained off the end of the DC8. I haven't done it yet, but I plan to run less critical components off the X10 ciruit and everything else on the DC8.


NOW, if I can just figure out how to get my ACIII PRO on the web. I have a Linksys Wireless G Router but can't figure out how to configure it to forward incoming logins to the Aqua Controllers' specific IP address. Has anyone figured this out yet????
I leave on vacation in a few days and REALLY want to know.

I have the AC Jr and have thought about buying the DC4HD but I was wondering if I bouught the DC8, I know the AC Jr. can only control 12 ports, would the others be a constant on or would they never work?

12 ports can be addressed by the Jr. Additional ports will default to off and you will not be able to turn them on. For instance, with 2 DC8s, 4 plugs will always be off. With a DC8 and a DC4, all 12 plugs will be controlable.

I have an update... As much as I like Premium Aquatics, I gave up. I found someone selling an AC Jr. online and picked it up. Just arrived today and I can't wait to set it up!
