Netted an angler in the Gulf!!

Hey everyone, been awhile since I posted! We went on Vacation this last week to Corpus/Padre and did some fishing, netting, etc. It was a good time and I caught a few neat fish including this sargassum angler about .5"-.75" long.

What do you think?

Good friend of mine goes fishing in Galveston every weekend, he caught a baby black tip reef shark this last weekend. He was in total shock b/c he'd never seen one that far north before. A few minutes later a guy standing on the jetty with him caught a 4 foot black tip.

very cool. how big do they get? what do you feed that little guy?

I think he'll get 7"-8" in the right conditions. I have some saltwater feeder shrimp in with him now, but will try to get him on frozen at some point.

I had one a few years ago that I fed frozen silversides, worked great.
