New 240 with LED's

So the new lighting system over the 240 at my work is in place. We are using 4 Kessil A150w "Ocean Blue" and Two Aquabeam 1000 HD with controller. The nice thing is we were able to leave the chiller off the system because we got rid of the heat from the metal halide and power compacts. Some benefits if the set up is, low heat, no bulbs to replace, mercury free, less power consumption. So it will be interesting to see how the LED's perform versus the metal halides for growing corals. The published PAR ratings seem to suggest they will. We will see. I will post some pics tomorrow.

Sweet I need to come check that out, last time I was in there you just had the 75w over the cube and that setup looked really sweet. love to see what a system of that size can produce
