New 280 or 300

I'm looking at going with either a 280(90"Lx30"Dx24"T) or a 300(96"Lx30"Dx24"T). I want to run 3 250's with the Lumenarc III reflectors. They have a spread of 30"x30". I't will have 2x 1.5" drains with a Dart with a 4-way for return. I was thinking of going with the Barracuda instead but I got a deal on a used Dart. I could even go 96"Lx30"Dx30"T but I really don't care for that deep of a tank because of the reach factor. Any ideas will help. Thanks

Cool, I'm still debating on doing closed loops also. I big factor is electricity is cheaper out here. Also the wife has given me the OK already.

With the new tunzes and vortech gen 2, I think there performance and electricty draw outweighs large pumps and $$$$ for plumbing. Once you drill, you're stuck.
