I finally setup my 29 gal reef tank this weekend. I transferred everything out of my 10 gal tank into it. Took me all day, but everything seems to be happy. Any advice on it is appreciated. I hope the pics are big enough to see.

That's exactly what I did 10g to 29g to55g - idk if size would ever stop if money and space weren't a problem, - make sure u add more inverts, I didn't think about it and had to battle algea and it wasn't fun - I amnassuming you always upgraded on lights so watch to maker sure everything is happy bc you may have to move it around

Will do. As far as inverts I have 3 of those turbo snails I think they are called, the kind that go up the glass, 3 of the dirt digging snails. serith??? I think. 1 shrimp, 2 hermit crabs, and 1 emerald crab. Do I need more?

I went to reefcleaners.org and got a custom clean up crew. I have over 40 snails and 6 blue leg hermits. Snails are a mixture dwarf ceriths, ceriths, limpets, and nassarius. My cuc is a little over the top, but I've never had any kind of problem. Also bought a cleaner shrimp that I now regret getting.

I would wait, the tank will take a while to get allege and u don't wanna add inverts that may not have any 'food'. If you notice it getting plentiful try to nip it as fast as possible. And certain inverts eat diffent types i.e. elm crabs eat bubble allege - You may wanna get more live rock when u can - every thing I have seen says 1-1.75 lb/ gallon - maybe a small power head at some point - I am sure other will post with way better ideas :) -

possibly coral frenzy. I use it in my tank and all of my critters seem to like it.

I currently use the coral frenzy and my large dusters do not seem to feed on them as they keep shrinking in size. I had no problem with them when using DT in the past.

What is DT? I checked my food for them at home during lunch today, and it is the coral frenzy.

let them be upset a couple days after being messed with and give them time to adjust to new water/sand and rock and lighting.

Then you should notice everything opening up more and more. After it has opened fully, you should begin to see some growth if it is happy with it's proximity to lighting and flow.
