I've seen a lot of statements that say powerheads should be disabled when introducing an anemone. I have an MP40 and the two return discharges from my sump pump in my tank. The MP40 is towards the top of the tank and is set to the random reef setting. I guess I fail to see how he could get 'sucked in' to the MP40 being 20" away from where he is. He would have to either float up to it or climb the glass. Both of which I think are unlikely???
He has been drip acclimated to the DT and introduced. It's my first Anemone (and likely only). He has already settled into the sand and has his tentacles happily extended (and mouth closed).
So, should I turn off the MP40?
